OVERVIEW
The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia takes you on a walking journey through America's most historic area - the birthplace of our nation. The Constitutional offers three types of tours of Independence National Historical Park which is home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the National Constitution Center: 1) Free, Self-guided tours of 30+ historic sites, 2) Live guided tours of 20+ sites and 3) New Philly MP3 Audio Tours that visitors can purchase and listen to on their iPods.
FREE, SELF-GUIDED TOUR
In the spirit of giving something back to the Philadelphia community, Leslie and Jonathan Bari co-founded The Constitutional Foundation, Inc. a Pennsylvania 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, which created and administers the free, self-guided offering of The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia. The Constitutional's self-guided tour brochures are available at more than 100 locations including the Independence Visitor Center, National Constitution Center, Pennsylvania Convention Center, area hotels, etc., and online at www.TheConstitutional.com.
GUIDED TOUR
Guided tours depart from the Independence Visitor Center (6th & Market Streets) and are offered daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and Weekends in the Spring and Fall. School Field Trips, group tours and private VIP tours are available year-round with advance reservations, and group discounts are available for parties of 25 or more.
PHILLY MP3 AUDIO TOUR
The Philly MP3 Audio Tour uses modern day technology, patriotic music, creative sound effects and entertaining storytellers to allow visitors to step back in time and walk in the Founding Fathers' footsteps. The Audio Tour costs $14.99, and can be purchased and downloaded online at www.PhillyMP3.com. A free preview is available at www.PhillyMP3.com/sample.

MISSION
The Constitutional Walking Tour of Philadelphia is dedicated to increasing the understanding of, appreciation for and promotion of Philadelphia's historically significant sites, along a suggested marked sequence, in the Independence Mall area ecosystem. As such, The Constitutional aims to increase the:
- Number of overall visitors to the City of Philadelphia
- Number of historic sites visited per visitor in the Independence National Historical Park area; and
- Total length of time that each visitor spends in the Independence National Historical Park area.
