The Constitutional Walking Tour Announces New Scavenger Hunts Of Historic Philadelphia

Complement your Field Trip to Philadelphia
with an Interactive Treasure Hunt

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – November 19, 2009 – The Constitutional Walking Tour proudly presents new Historic Philadelphia Scavenger Hunts - a fun and educational team building and social activity as you explore and learn about America's Birthplace.

On your Scavenger Hunt, we’ll provide a list of fun clues related to the sites and stories in and around Historic Philadelphia and the Old City area.  Teams will then have 60-75 minutes to find the answer to the clues and then rejoin their trained History Hunter again at the end to learn the results. Plus, we provide cool prizes for the winning team including Philadelphia souvenirs!

“The Scavenger Hunt is a great way to integrate the content of The Constitutional Walking Tour into a fun, hands-on experiential program,” stated Jonathan Bari, President of The Constitutional Walking Tour. “Offering the Scavenger Hunt after the tour reinforces what students learn on the tour, and offers educators an alternative to the standard museum experience while students remain actively engaged in our outdoor classroom.”

The Constitutional’s Scavenger Hunt serves all types of groups ranging from meetings and conventions to school field trips and camps to family reunions, boy scouts, girl scouts, religious youth groups, corporate groups and more. The Constitutional’s group sales department provides turnkey resources for your group visit to Historic Philadelphia, such as “Suggested itineraries”, as well as various educator resources.

To arrange a Scavenger Hunt or tour, please visit www.TheConstitutional.com/scavengerhunt or call 215.525.1776.
