Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – February 20, 2014 – The Constitutional Walking Tour announced today that the company is hiring tour guides for the Spring 2014 season.
A Casting Call will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Adrienne Theatre (2030 Sansom Street in Philadelphia). Candidates will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parties should come to the casting call and bring along a resume, cover letter and head shot (or a selfie) if available.
“The Constitutional is looking for qualified people to join our team,” stated Jonathan Bari, President of The Constitutional Walking Tour. “If you’re a history buff, you love performing in front of others, and are enthusiastic and outgoing, then this may be the job for you. Tour guides will lead groups of visitors around Historic Philadelphia on a 75 minute outdoor walking journey.”
The Constitutional’s tour guides are passionate historians and Philadelphians. Newly hired tour guides will be trained in The Constitutional's "Independence Immersion" curriculum focusing on Philadelphia's history, tourist attractions, and sharing of best practices in terms of customer service, public speaking and authentic storytelling.

Tour guide alumni from The Constitutional Walking Tour have "graduated" to make their own history at Ivy League law schools, medical schools, in Off-Broadway plays, in major motion pictures, in TV commercials, in education, in business, in entrepreneurial ventures, in marketing and social media, etc.
