Performance Opportunities - Parades & Other Venues

Everyone loves a parade, and there's no place quite like Philadelphia when it comes to festive, musical processions. Throughout the year, the streets are filled with celebrations of history and culture, from the Fourth of July spectacular to parades honoring the various ethnic groups that make Philadelphia a diverse and exceptional city. The following parades welcome visiting performing groups:

The Constitutional guides you through the Independence National Historical Park area by connecting the buildings and places where the events of the American Revolution transpired. The Constitutional tells the dramatic story of the brave men and women who were responsible for creating America.

GIRL SCOUTS - Building Courage, Confidence & Character
Girl Scouts step back in time to retrace the steps of the brave women and men who founded America including learning about Betsy Ross, the matriarch of the American Revolution. Girl Scouts can take The Constitutional and also the Historic History Scavenger Hunt to earn credits toward patches and try-its. A fun-filled day full of guided tours and interactive experiences will help Scouts better understand what it means to be citizens of the United States.

Boy Scout & Cub Scout Days

Boy Scout & Cub Scout Troop Leaders!
Boy Scouts can participate in several activities to earn credits toward American Heritage and Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badges. Taking The Constitutional Walking Tour and stepping back in time in the Founding Fathers' footsteps will help scouts better understand what it means to be a citizen of the United States.
